The plastic injection moulding shop of VENTS has commissioned the HILECTRO ROBOT – a multi-function thermoforming unit to automate plastic part fabrication. The HILECTRO ROBOT handles a variety of operations such as insertion of embedded parts into moulds, removal of fabricated parts from the moulds, sprue removal, checking the moulds for leftovers of fabricated parts and sprue, mould spraying with release agent and many others.  The commissioning of the new equipment has reduced the time per unit, the production output capacity as well as the finished product quality. Furthermore, minimisation of human intervention has also resulted in significant operator safety improvements.
